Ramp at Gail's

:: april 2011

Our dear friend Gail was in need of a ramp coming off his back door.  A wheelchair can't stop him - he just needs something to cruise up and down.  The Nazareth Farm team was happy to assist everyone's favorite tic-tac-toe player.

Stairs at Mary's and Karen and Jim's

:: october and november 2010

October and November brought to the Farm first a team of College students and then one of adults.  Team 1 undertook building some stairs for our good friend Mary (far left) so she could get to her car and mailbox in the winter without having to trudge through the snow.  Likewise, in November, our Team 2 from Adult week tackled some stairs at Karen and Jim's (near left).  Both look great and do their jobs.

roof-over at jim and sherry's

:: october 2010

The Nazareth Farm workforce was faced with one of its toughest challenges to date: building a roof over a double-wide trailer.  Whoa.  The roof at Jim and Sherry's was leaking uncontrollably and the best solution was to build a tin roof over the house.  A daunting task to some, but to the Farmers it was merely a welcome test of merit.  Danny and Jordan spearheaded the operation and 96 rafters, a few dozen sheets of tin and a great group of October volunteers left our lovely, lunch-cooking homeowners with a beautiful, leak free roof.  Mission impossible?  Mission accomplished!

siding at roy's and larry's

:: july and august 2010

Brothers and neighbors Roy and Larry both needed new siding done on their homes, so we were happy to oblige.  Catching some shade under porches and on the sides of the houses was a great way to beat the summer heat and help both weatherproof these homes and make them look beautiful!

roofing at cecilia and bob's

:: august 2010

Cecilia and Bob's leaky roof needed repair, so the Naz Farm team sprang into action!  Ridges and valleys abounded on the roof and the job also came with the challenge of rubber roofing.  Jordan helped Randy lead his last site and all did a great job fixing the roof.

addition at jack and debbie's

:: june 2010

Nazareth farm built a beautiful new 12X16ft. addition onto Jack and Debbie's house this summer.  Volunteers worked from digging posts to securing a tin roof and everything in between.  The homeowners now have a brand new space attached to their house, all thanks to the wonderful volunteers that Naz Farm had this summer.

painting at larry and brenda's

:: june and july 2010

Nazareth Farm volunteers were scraping and painting fiends this summer!  Larry and Brenda's big old house needed a fresh coat of paint, the crew scaled tall ladders and traversed many a porch roof to get the job done.
